Your First Visit to Our Acworth Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

The goal of the first visit is to gather information so that we may decide if and how we will be able to help you . On the first day, after your paperwork is completed you will proceed to the consultation and exam area.

After the consultation and exam the doctor decides if x-rays are necessary. If x-rays are needed, we have the facility to take them on sight. At this point you will be scheduled for your next appointment to discuss the doctor's findings. The doctor review your information and compile and report and treatment plan specifically to your needs.

After the completion of you initial paperwork your visit shouldn't take longer than 15-25 minutes. Sometimes in extreme cases this time is delayed longer but that is rare and reserved for extreme scenarios.

Dr. Byrd Asks some important questions of interest to Acworth residents - Chiropractor Acworth Dr. Byrd Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
